RESTORATIVE YIN

To practice restorative Yin holds many benefits for our precious nervous system and therefor for our body and brain. Balancing sympathetic and parasympethetic response to our inner and the outside world is at the heart of this method.

We get curious about: Do you notice your breath? How do you notice what you are feeling? Do you recognize your body’s language? What possibilities emerge when allowing ourselves to invite pleasure into the experience of rest and low stimulation?

Learning the art of restoration means improving our ability to self regulate, provides a general increase of self awareness and has an overall affect on immune and health responses of our body.

In the introspection of embodying softness, we explore strength and knowledge of our needs and boundaries that grow from the fertile soil of vulnerability. Aside from this emotional maturation, Yin further reaches into parts of our brain where accessing and stabilizing our parasympathetic response further enables our sense of connection, our ability to love, trust and be in community.

FLUENTBODY

“Fluentbody is for people who want to take charge of their lives and move out of the limitations of others’ expectations and how they are supposed to be and look. Fluentbody class is a combination of movement and somatic therapy that helps people to be generous to their body and mind.

We take a journey through movement, dance, connecting and feeling, to explore the intricacies of our stories. Connecting conscious and unconscious movement, we uncover delicate, pleasurable and powerful movements, without self-judgment. We open doors to new places, awakening physical sensations, which can also work on an emotional level.

This class could help you navigate through feeling tired and heavy, feeling disconnected from your body or too much in your head, feeling blocked, suffering from chronic pain, or simply wanting to learn, move and explore.” Florencia Lamarca, Founder of Fluentbody

EMBODIED FLOW

Integrating the somatic experience into our practices of awareness and movement results in a deep connection to ourselves. Furthermore, we learn how to take ownership and responsibility for how we approach our experiences and move towards consciously inviting what we need. Embodied Flow is a fusion of the 8 limb path of Yoga, biomechanics alignment theory and somatic practices to increase self awareness, sensation and nervous system regulation.

I hereby recognize and honor the yogic knowledge that has been passed on from the southasian lineage. I commit to sharing this philosophy mindfully, respectfully and in gratitude to its roots.
